CSPC Innovation Pharmaceutical (300765.SZ) announced that its controlling subsidiary, CSPC PHARMA Jushi Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jushi Biopharmaceutical"), recently received the "Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice" issued by the National Medical Products Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "NMPA") for SYS6088 Injection, and will soon initiate clinical trials. SYS6088 Injection is a recombinant humanized trispecific antibody targeting programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4). It can specifically bind to PD-1 and CTLA-4 on the surface of T cell membranes as well as VEGFA in the tumor microenvironment, thereby reversing T cell exhaustion, restoring T cell killing function, and inhibiting angiogenesis within the tumor microenvironment, while also promoting T cell activation and expansion during the immune priming phase, forming a triple synergistic anti-tumor effect. The Fc engineering modification can reduce the toxicity risk of the product while effectively extending its half-life. The clinical indication approved for this product is advanced/metastatic solid tumors. Preclinical studies have shown that the product has a broad range of indications, demonstrating significant anti-tumor effects and good safety profiles across multiple malignant tumor models, and possesses high clinical development value.
