CTIHK (06055) rose over 4% in early trading. As of press time, it was up 4.24% at HK$24.08, with a turnover of HK$18.4042 million. On the news front, on September 30, Mr. Li Bin was appointed as chairman of the board and non-executive director of CTIHK. Mr. Li Bin has served as chairman of China Tobacco International Group Co., Ltd., and general manager and director of China Tobacco International Co., Ltd. since July 2026. After joining CTIHK, he is expected to lead the company into a new stage of development. Sinolink noted that Hubei China Tobacco, which Mr. Li Bin previously headed, is a leading force in China's HNB industry. Its "MOK" heating device uses fully independently developed needle heating technology and holds 159 related patents, making it one of the most standardized and industrialized domestic HNB products in China. In July this year, the draft national standard for "Heated Cigarettes" was released for public comment, and the comment period ended on September 26. As China's HNB regulatory framework gradually becomes clearer, the company is expected to benefit from the advantages of the China Tobacco system and its overseas channels.
