TKD Science and Technology (603738.SH) announced that the company plans to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, Vietnam TKD Electronics Co., Ltd., in Vietnam and build a production base, with a total investment of no more than USD 40 million, all funded by the company's domestic funds. The investment will be mainly used for establishing and operating the overseas company, purchasing land and factory buildings, factory construction, equipment procurement, working capital, and other related matters. The purpose of this investment is to leverage Vietnam's local locational advantages, optimize the global production capacity layout, enhance supply chain resilience and customer response efficiency, strengthen the company's cooperation and exchanges with international markets and overseas business expansion, and by building a global manufacturing and service system, improve the company's ability to cope with international trade risks in the future and its comprehensive long-term competitiveness in the international crystal oscillator market.
