SILKWAVE INC (00471) Announces Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation in the Industrial-Grade Drone Sector SILKWAVE INC (00471) has issued an announcement that on October 8, 2026, the Company entered into a memorandum of understanding (the "MOU") with Altura UAV Co., Ltd. ("Altura") in relation to deep cooperation in the research and development, manufacturing, application and market expansion of industrial-grade drones. Altura is an investment holding company incorporated under the laws of Thailand, and is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, production, sales and servicing of industrial-grade drone systems. Its products cover VTOL fixed-wing, hybrid heavy-lift, logistics and transportation, agricultural plant protection and emergency rescue series, and are complemented by intelligent hangar systems and various mission payloads. Its flagship products include the AT-V12, AT-V30 and AT-V50E/H, which feature long endurance, large payload capacity, high reliability and rapid deployment, and are widely used in surveying and mapping, inspection, logistics, agriculture and emergency rescue. The Company is a company engaged in the satellite data business. The Board believes that, if the proposed cooperation is implemented, it will be able to combine the resources and expertise of both parties in the fields of satellite communications and industrial-grade drones, and the parties can create synergies in the following areas: 1. Technological research and development cooperation: jointly advancing the research and development of a new generation of long-endurance, large-payload drones and intelligent hangar systems. 2. Market expansion: combining Altura's product advantages with the Company's satellite data network to promote deployment in the "Belt and Road" and ASEAN markets. 3. Financial support: Altura intends to strengthen research and development, manufacturing and supply chain construction through capital increase. 4. Emergency and public services: exploring application scenarios in areas such as disaster rescue, border patrol and energy pipeline monitoring. The Board believes that the entering into of the MOU is in the overall interests of the Company and its shareholders, and will help enhance the Company's competitiveness in the global industrial-grade drone market. The parties intend to explore and develop commercial cooperation, market opportunity development and financing arrangements related to the satellite and industrial-grade drone sectors. The parties agree to evaluate each other's business value and quantify the benefits of the cooperation. Within three months from the effective date of the MOU, the parties agree to appoint professional personnel to conduct exclusive negotiations in respect of the cooperation.
