Yahong Medicine (688176.SH) announced that recently, the company signed a conditional Exclusive Licensing Agreement with Theramex HQ UK Limited (referred to as "Theramex"). Under the licensing agreement, Theramex will obtain exclusive rights to APL-1702 (trade name: Xiweta/CEVIRA) in European countries as well as Australia, New Zealand, and Turkey. The company retains the relevant rights in the rest of the world.

According to the agreement, the company will receive payments including a US$15 million upfront payment, US$11 million in near-term regulatory milestone payments, as well as commercialization milestones and tiered sales royalties. The total transaction amount exceeds US$250 million.
