ZHENGWEI GROUP (02147): Approximately 36.13% valid applications and acceptances received for the rights issue

ZHENGWEI GROUP (02147) announced that, on the record date, (i) the number of rights shares offered under the rights issue was 403 million shares; and (ii) there were no non-qualifying shareholders, and the number of unsold rights shares of non-qualifying shareholders was zero. The board of directors announced that, as at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026 (being the latest time for acceptance), a total of 9 valid acceptances were received, covering an aggregate of 146 million rights shares, representing approximately 36.13% of the total number of shares offered. Accordingly, the rights issue was undersubscribed, with 258 million rights shares remaining unsubscribed, representing approximately 63.87% of the total number of shares offered, and such shares will be subject to the compensatory arrangements.
