HK Stock Market Move | AI's strong demand drives PCB prices and volumes up, KB LAMINATES(01888) rises over 7%, KINGBOARD HLDG(00148) rises over 6%.

PCB concept stocks fluctuated higher. As of press time, KB LAMINATES(01888) rose 7.59% to HK$53.15; KINGBOARD HLDG(00148) rose 6.16% to HK$60.3; DELTON(01989) rose 4.57% to HK$123.5. On the news front, the PCB industry chain is seeing a price and volume rally. In the upstream segment, KB LAMINATES has already issued 7 rounds of price increase notices this year, and Nan Ya Plastics raised product prices by another 20% starting from September. Meanwhile, the price increases are being fully passed down to the downstream: Jiangxi Hongruixing Technology previously announced a 10% increase in copper-clad laminate ex-factory prices; fiberglass leader China Jushi Co., Ltd raised prices for thick electronic cloth and thin cloth by 15% and 20% respectively in September. A previous research report by Sinolink pointed out that strong AI demand is driving both PCB prices and volumes higher. At present, many AI-PCB companies have strong order books, are producing and selling at full capacity, and are vigorously expanding production. High performance growth is expected to continue. AI copper-clad laminates are also in strong demand. Due to the slow capacity expansion of overseas copper-clad laminate manufacturers, shortages and price increases continue, and leading mainland copper-clad laminate manufacturers are expected to benefit actively.
