DEEP SOURCE (00990) subsidiary leases property in Malaysia for artificial intelligence data center project.

DEEP SOURCE (00990) announces that on October 1, 2026, the Company's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Deep Source (PN) (as lessee) entered into a lease agreement with Southern Steel (as lessor) for the lease of the property, for a term of 3 years commencing from the unconditional date, at a monthly rent of RM917,000 (approximately HK$1.761 million). The properties are all located in Mukim 01, Seberang Perai Tengah, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. As previously announced by the Company, the Company has received approval from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia for the Group's artificial intelligence data center project. The Company states that it will accelerate the progress of constructing the artificial intelligence data center project. Accordingly, entering into the lease agreement and constructing the facilities for the artificial intelligence data center project thereunder are in line with the Company's strategic transformation to continuously promote artificial intelligence infrastructure operations, injecting new growth momentum into the Group's future development.
