JINCHUAN INTL(02362) rose nearly 7% again. The stock resumed trading on the previous trading day and closed up 25% that day. As of press time, it rose 6.92% to HK$0.85, with a turnover of HK$78.5292 million. On the news front, in the first half of this year, JINCHUAN INTL achieved revenue of US$460 million, a year-on-year increase of 152%; profit attributable to shareholders was US$47.816 million, a year-on-year increase of about 7.7 times. It is worth noting that the earnings growth stemmed from rising volumes and prices of copper and cobalt. In the first half, the company's copper production was 38,214 tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 37%, mainly due to the Musonoi mine commencing operations in November 2025; cobalt production jumped to 4,345 tonnes from 71 tonnes in the same period last year. The average realized copper selling price was US$12,226/tonne, up 75% year on year. During the same period, the average LME copper benchmark price was US$13,088/tonne, up 39% year on year, while the average cobalt price in Metal Bulletin was US$25.56/lb, up 94% year on year, mainly due to tighter supply from the Democratic Republic of the Congo's cobalt export quota.
