As of press time, CANSINOBIO's H shares jumped over 17%, at HK$36.44, with a turnover of HK$522 million; CanSino Biologics Inc.'s A-shares hit the daily limit intraday. On the news front, recently, U.S. vaccine concept stock Moderna announced that abstracts from three studies of an investigational personalized mRNA neoantigen therapy jointly developed with Merck have been accepted for presentation at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology Congress, to be held from October 23 to 27 in Madrid. Affected by this news, Moderna's U.S. stock price held firm at US$203 overnight, setting a new 52-week high. It is understood that CanSino Biologics Inc. has established an mRNA development and manufacturing platform. Its Shanghai entity previously signed a cooperation framework agreement with Depusheng Biotech to jointly develop personalized mRNA tumor vaccines, with CanSino Biologics Inc. providing mRNA delivery and formulation capabilities, and Depusheng providing an AI neoantigen discovery and design platform. In addition, in terms of therapeutic areas, the company is advancing research and development of mRNA vaccines for indications such as glioblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, and cervical cancer, as well as the development of In Vivo CAR-related therapies, all of which are currently at an early stage.
