On the news front, in early September, Simcere Zaiming, SIMCERE PHARMA's innovative oncology drug subsidiary, announced that it had entered into a global exclusive licensing agreement with Roche for SIM0660, securing US$75 million in upfront payments, US$1.455 billion in milestones, and tiered sales royalties of up to double digits.
Huatai released a research report stating that SIM0660 is a global FIC and has high potential for synergy with Roche's existing pipeline in the B-cell disease field, and is expected to gradually realize its global value through Roche's global development and commercialization system. At the same time, this transaction is another major overseas deal from Simcere's TCE platform following SIM0500. Two consecutive MNC collaborations have validated the reusable capabilities in target selection and molecular design. We are optimistic that the platform will continue to generate high-global-value assets and achieve normalized BD. Maintain "Buy."
