On September 30, HKD interbank rates showed mixed development, with the one-month rate, which is linked to mortgage payments, reported at 3.00518%, down 1.089 basis points; the three-month rate, which reflects banks' funding costs, was reported at 3.24167%, down 0.071 basis points.
The overnight rate was reported at 4.08750%, up 123.809 basis points; the one-week rate rose 0.167 basis points to 3.27798%, while the two-week rate rose 2.560 basis points to 3.09048%. The two-month rate fell 0.071 basis points to 3.14310%.
In terms of long-term rates, the six-month rate rose 0.851 basis points to 3.53815%, while the one-year rate rose 1.678 basis points to 4.01351%.
