Chongqing Afari Technology (601777.SH) announced that its controlled subsidiary, Chongqing Qianli Intelligent Driving Technology Co., Ltd. ("Qianli Intelligent Driving"), plans to sign an Asset Transfer Agreement with Zhejiang Zeekr Automotive Research and Development Co., Ltd. ("Zhejiang Zeekr") to purchase electronic equipment and equipment installation works related to the research and development of its intelligent driving business from Zhejiang Zeekr, with a transaction price of 34.4388 million yuan (including value-added tax).
As the company's intelligent driving business continues to deepen and expand in scale, purchasing the relevant assets is commercially reasonable and necessary to fully safeguard the continuity of its R&D system and the steady conduct of its business operations. The relevant target assets are highly compatible with the company's R&D needs. The electronic equipment has completed parameter debugging and system adaptation, and the main body of the construction in progress has been basically completed, which can meet the supporting needs of the company's relevant R&D activities. Compared with separate procurement or construction, this purchase can shorten the procurement, construction, and debugging cycle. After the completion of this transaction, the company will further improve the layout of its R&D infrastructure, enhance the efficiency of asset full-life-cycle management, and provide solid support for the implementation of core R&D projects and the long-term stable operation of its business, in line with the company's long-term strategic development direction.
