GUIXIN GROUP (08349): Operations of other businesses have continued as usual in all material respects.

GUIXIN GROUP (08349) has issued an announcement. The Board would like to inform shareholders that the Company is awaiting the appointment of an independent investigation institution to conduct a forensic investigation and the appointment of an independent internal control consultant, and is maintaining ongoing communication with the relevant PRC authorities and PRC legal counsel regarding the progress of the incident, and will publish relevant announcements in due course. The Company is an investment holding company. The principal businesses of the Group are (i) research and development, production and sales of fiberglass reinforced plastic products; and (ii) sales of industrial silica sand materials in the PRC. As at the date of this announcement, notwithstanding the suspension of trading in the shares of the Company, the operations of other businesses of the Group have continued as usual in all material respects, except that two principal operating subsidiaries of the Group, namely Guogui New Materials (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. and Hubei Aoxun New Material Technology Co., Ltd., have temporarily suspended operations. At the request of the Company, trading in the shares of the Company has been suspended on the Stock Exchange with effect from 9:00 a.m. on March 27, 2026, and will continue to be suspended pending the publication of the 2025 annual results, the despatch of the 2025 annual report, the publication of the 2026 interim results announcement, the despatch of the 2026 interim report, and the publication of announcements in relation to inside information of the Company.
