Nanjing King-Friend Biochemical Pharmaceutical (603707.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Emerge Bioscience Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Emerge") recently received the approval letter (BLA No.: 761216) issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (hereinafter referred to as "U.S. FDA") for Adalimumab Injection (40mg/0.4 mL, 80mg/0.8 mL). Adalimumab Injection, as a biosimilar, was approved for marketing by the U.S. FDA on December 17, 2021, under the trade name YUSIMRY. The product was originally held by Coherus BioSciences. The Adalimumab Injection approved this time is interchangeable with the already-approved Humira (adalimumab reference product) Injection in the United States. As of now, the company has invested approximately RMB 138.6667 million in research and development expenses on the Adalimumab Injection project.
