HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) announced that on September 28, 2026, it purchased 911,200 shares from BNP Paribas Financial Markets SNC at a volume-weighted average price of HKD 159.5951 per share. Following this purchase, the buyback has been completed. Since the commencement of the buyback, the company has repurchased approximately 31,735,500 ordinary shares from the UK location at a volume-weighted average price of GBP 15.1909 per ordinary share, and 16,921,600 ordinary shares from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at a volume-weighted average price of HKD 161.2887 per ordinary share, for cancellation, with a total consideration of approximately USD 1 billion.
