HSBC HOLDINGS (00005): Pauline van der Meer Mohr Appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director

HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) has issued an announcement that HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC or the "Company") today announced the appointment of Elizabeth Alison Platt, aged 64, as an independent non-executive Director with effect from 1 October 2026. At that time, she will become a member of the Group Remuneration Committee, the Group Risk Management Committee and the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee. The Board has also appointed Platt to succeed Dame Carolyn Fairbairn as Chair of the Group Remuneration Committee, subject to regulatory approval. Dame Carolyn Fairbairn has previously been appointed as Chair of HSBC UK Bank plc. Following regulatory approval, Platt will take up the role on 24 February 2027, after HSBC publishes its full-year results on 23 February 2027.
