SILVER GRANT (00171): Trading in the Company's shares has been suspended
SILVER GRANT (00171) announced that the Securities and Futures Commission (the Commission) issued a direction (the Direction) on 24 September 2026 under section 8(1) of the Securities and Futures (Stock Market Listing) Rules (the Stock Market Listing Rules) to suspend trading in the Company's shares with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 25 September 2026, on the grounds that the Commission considers that:
SILVER GRANT (00171) announced that the Securities and Futures Commission (the Commission) issued a direction (the Direction) on 24 September 2026 under section 8(1) of the Securities and Futures (Stock Market Listing) Rules (the Stock Market Listing Rules) to suspend trading in the Company's shares with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 25 September 2026, on the grounds that the Commission considers that:
(i) the Company's interim reports for the six months ended 30 June 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026; the Company's annual reports for the years ended 31 December 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025; and the Company's announcements and circulars dated 27 June 2024 and 12 February 2025 respectively relating to the disposal of 54 loans granted by the Group contain materially false, incomplete or misleading information;
(ii) the suspension of trading in the Company's shares is necessary or expedient for the purpose of maintaining an orderly and fair market in the Company's shares; and
(ii) the suspension of trading in the Company's shares is in the interest of the investing public or the public interest, or is appropriate for the protection of investors generally or the protection of investors in the Company's shares.
The Company has the right to make representations to the Commission in respect of the Direction under section 9(1) of the Stock Market Listing Rules. The Company is currently seeking legal advice in respect of the Direction and how to address and resolve the Commission's concerns and resume trading in the Company's shares.
