On the news front, on the evening of September 23, Xiaomi's autumn new product launch was held as scheduled, unveiling two models, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, priced from RMB 5,999 and RMB 6,999 respectively, positioned as dual-size imaging technology flagships and billed as the biggest upgrade in the history of the numbered series. Citi believes the launch strengthens Xiaomi's premiumization strategy and value-for-money positioning, with the next catalysts being shipment data and third-quarter results this year. The bank noted that the starting price of the 18 Pro series is significantly higher than that of the 17 series, in line with Xiaomi's strategy to expand its share of the premium market.
