SHOUGANG LANZA (02553) rose over 6% in morning trading, up 4.39% as of press time, at HK$17.84, with a turnover of HK$5.9905 million. On the news front, SHOUGANG LANZA announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hebei Shoulang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., obtained the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification - EU Scheme (ISCC EU) certificate granted by SCS Global Services on September 14, 2026. This is the first time such certification has been obtained in the global renewable carbon fuel sector. ISCC EU certification is a certification system recognized by the EU and serves as an important market access credential for green fuels entering the European market. Passing ISCC EU certification signifies that the Group's ethanol products produced using industrial tail gas as raw material possess the necessary international sustainability qualifications for use as feedstock to produce sustainable green fuels. Upon obtaining ISCC EU certification, the Group's ethanol products will be able to be sold directly as certified renewable carbon fuel to the EU's marine fuel and road transport fuel markets, and can also enter the EU and UK aviation fuel markets. Obtaining this certification is expected to open up overseas fuel supply chain channels for the Group, particularly helping the Group's products connect with the EU's ReFuelEU aviation carbon reduction market, thereby broadening the Group's international green fuel business layout.
