Zijin Longking (600388.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zijin Longking Clean Energy Co., Ltd., plans to invest in and construct a solar-plus-storage project for the underground mining plant at the Aurora Gold Mine in Guyana. The project will have a construction scale of 45MWp photovoltaic plus 50MW/100MWh energy storage, with a total investment of approximately US$55.24 million, to be self-funded by the company. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027, with a planned service life of 30 years after completion, and an estimated average annual power generation of approximately 61.7622 million kWh. The project focuses on serving the underground mining plant of Zijin Mining's Aurora Gold Mine, providing stable and reliable clean power supply for the underground mining plant, continuously reducing dependence on diesel power generation, and optimizing the overall energy consumption structure.
