LEPU BIO (02157): Clinical study results for CMG901 (AZD0901) selected for LBA and to be presented at the Presidential Symposium; a total of 4 clinical study results selected for the 2026 ESMO Congress

LEPU BIO (02157) announces that at the European Society for Medical Oncology Annual Congress 2026 (2026 ESMO Congress): (1) Positive results from the Phase III clinical trial of CMG901 for second-line and later-line (2L+) Claudin 18.2-positive advanced/metastatic gastroesophageal cancer (GEC) have been selected as a Late-Breaking Abstract (LBA) and will be presented as a proffered paper at the Presidential Symposium; (2) Positive results from the Phase I clinical study of MRG007 (a potential best-in-class CDH17-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) candidate for the treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC)) have been selected as an LBA and will be presented as a rapid oral presentation at the congress; (3) Positive results from the European Phase II study of MRG003 in combination with HX008 for locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (LA-HNSCC) have been selected for a rapid oral presentation; and (4) Positive results from the Phase II study of MRG003 in combination with HX008 for the treatment of epidermal growth factor receptor-positive (EGFR-positive) unresectable anaplastic/poorly differentiated thyroid cancer have been selected for a rapid oral presentation. The 2026 ESMO Congress will be held from October 23 to 27, 2026 (local time) in Madrid, Spain. In February 2023, the global rights for the research, development, registration, manufacturing, and commercialization of CMG901 were granted to AstraZeneca (AstraZeneca), and the detailed results of its Phase III clinical trial for the treatment of second-line and above advanced/metastatic Claudin 18.2-positive GEC will be disclosed for the first time as an LBA at the ESMO Congress Presidential Symposium. Meanwhile, the Phase I clinical study results of MRG007 (a potential best-in-class CDH17-targeting ADC for the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies) will also be disclosed for the first time in the form of an LBA rapid oral presentation at the 2026 ESMO Congress.
