On September 23, HKD HIBOR rose across the board, with the one-month HIBOR, which is linked to mortgage loans, reported at 2.88571%, up 4.232 basis points; the three-month HIBOR, which reflects banks' funding costs, was reported at 3.11566%, up 5.548 basis points.
The overnight rate was reported at 2.34333%, up 22.083 basis points; the one-week HIBOR rose 9.185 basis points to 2.42030%, while the two-week rate rose 13.619 basis points to 2.81595%. The two-month HIBOR rose 5.643 basis points to 3.04220%.
In terms of longer tenors, the six-month HIBOR rose 1.803 basis points to 3.47726%, while the one-year rate rose 2.988 basis points to 3.90833%.
