SOMERLEY CAP (08439) Issues Positive Profit Alert, Expects Interim Profit to Increase to Not Less Than HK$2.5 Million
Somerley Capital (08439) announces that the Group expects its profit after tax for the six months ended 30 September 2026 to increase to not less than HK$2.5 million (2025: approximately HK$0.2 million). The expected increase in profit is primarily driven by an anticipated increase in revenue of not less than HK$5 million, continuing the growth momentum of corporate finance activities from the end of the previous financial year. This growth is partially offset by an expected increase of approximately HK$3 million in total employee benefit costs for the six months ended 30 September 2026, mainly due to higher bonuses associated with the increase in revenue.
