On the news front, recently, according to Pony.ai's official WeChat account, the company and autonomous mobility service company Verne jointly announced that they have officially launched fully driverless Robotaxi passenger testing on public roads in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. This is the first breakthrough of its kind in Europe, and also marks substantive progress in Pony.ai's fully driverless commercialization layout in overseas markets. The achievement of this milestone further accelerates Pony.ai's "dual-engine" strategy namely, expanding the scale of its Robotaxi business simultaneously in the Chinese market and international markets.
With multiple cooperation agreements reached recently, Pony.ai's overseas deployment plan has expanded to more than 4,000 Robotaxis, including a clear plan to deploy more than 2,000 vehicles in Europe in cooperation with Uber. According to the company's plan, Pony.ai will expand its global fleet to more than 3,500 Robotaxis by the end of 2026, covering more than 20 cities worldwide, continuously promoting the large-scale commercial deployment of autonomous driving technology globally.
