160 HEALTH (02656) fell over 14% again, touching HK$4.705 to set another record low, down more than 95% from its historical peak of HK$158.40. As of press time, it was down 12.74% at HK$4.865, with turnover of HK$139 million.
On the news front, 160 HEALTH has been listed for a full year, and the lock-up undertakings of its controlling shareholder and pre-IPO investors expired on September 16. Analysts had previously noted that these shareholders' holding costs are far below the issue price, and once the lock-up period ends, these low-cost shares have a strong incentive to be cashed in. Given that 160 HEALTH has long had limited average daily trading volume, even a small portion of the unlocked shares entering the secondary market could deal a severe blow to the stock price.
In addition, the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange shows that on September 18, 160 HEALTH saw unusual position activity, with total deposited market value of HK$201 million, accounting for 7.68%. The company's shareholder deposited 13.0489 million shares with China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities, increasing their shareholding ratio by 3.76%.
