EASY SMART GP (02442) plunged over 32%, down 32.4% as of press time, at HK$76.45, with a turnover of HK$32.7082 million. On the news front, on the evening of September 17, EASY SMART GP issued a profit warning, expecting to record a loss attributable to owners of the company of not more than approximately HK$32 million for the year ending June 30, 2026, an expansion from the loss of approximately HK$500,000 in the previous year. This was mainly attributable to the completion or near completion of certain large-scale public projects commenced before the current year, resulting in a decrease in revenue and gross profit; and customers' focus on price and intense market competition leading to a decrease in the profit margin of the group's new tender projects in the current year. Previously, on September 14, EASY SMART GP announced that with effect from 9:00 a.m. on October 6, 2026, the board lot size for trading of ordinary shares in the company's share capital on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited will be changed from 2,000 shares to 100 shares.
