On the news front, major positive news materialized today: On September 18, IMPACT Therapeutics and global specialty pharmaceutical company Pharmanovia jointly announced that the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has adopted a positive opinion recommending the approval of marketing authorization (MA) for Sepalna (senaparib), intended for maintenance treatment of advanced epithelial ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, and primary peritoneal cancer. Following the CHMP's recommendation for approval, senaparib will be submitted to the European Commission for a final decision. Once approved by the European Commission, senaparib will be authorized for marketing in all EU member states and European Economic Area countries. IMPACT Therapeutics and Pharmanovia entered into an exclusive collaboration in July 2026, under which IMPACT Therapeutics granted Pharmanovia exclusive rights to manufacture, develop, and commercialize senaparib in 66 countries (including all 27 EU member states, as well as the United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Australia, New Zealand, and countries in the Middle East and North Africa) for maintenance monotherapy treatment of advanced epithelial high-grade ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, and primary peritoneal cancer. In addition, IMPACT Therapeutics was recently included in the Stock Connect Southbound trading list, allowing southbound capital to trade the stock directly, with market attention continuing to rise. Market analysts believe that the recovery in sentiment in the innovative drug sector, combined with the internationalization milestone of senaparib's approval by the European Medicines Agency, along with multiple positive factors such as Stock Connect inclusion and domestic product ramp-up, has driven active capital positioning.
