Memory-related stocks lead gains. As of press time, CSOP SK Hynix Daily Leveraged 2X Product (07709) rose 7.19% to HK$42.34; GigaDevice Semiconductor Inc. (03986) rose 5.66% to HK$493; Montage Technology (06809) rose 5.16% to HK$281.4; Shenzhen Longsys Electronics (09976) rose 3.72% to HK$195. On the news front, following a collective rise in US memory stocks overnight, South Korea's two memory giants advanced this morning, with SK Hynix gaining over 4%. Earlier, comments from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang boosted optimism in the semiconductor market. He said that as artificial intelligence (AI) further penetrates industries including healthcare, manufacturing, and financial services, the company's chip sales next year will reach twice this year's level. Separately, according to reports, industry insiders revealed that lead times for key components of semiconductor manufacturing equipment have more than doubled, and the industry is facing a supply shortage. Central China pointed out that AI-driven demand for memory is strong, the memory cycle continues to trend upward, and AI and domestic substitution demand are expected to drive domestic memory manufacturers to significantly benefit from industry trends and continuously increase their market share.
