Yonz Technology (603381.SH) subsidiary plans to invest 597 million yuan to build an annual production project of 60,000 tons of finished battery aluminum foil.

Yonz Technology (603381.SH) announced that, in order to fully leverage the process technology and quality management capabilities the company has accumulated in the aluminum processing field, as well as the long-term, stable customer resources the company has established with leading downstream battery enterprises, and to seize the growing market demand for downstream power batteries, energy storage batteries, consumer batteries, and sodium-ion batteries, the company plans to invest in the construction of a "60,000-ton-per-year finished battery aluminum foil project." The project will be implemented by the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Yonz Technology (Wuhu) Co., Ltd. ("Yonz Wuhu"). According to the company's investment plan estimates, the total investment in this project is expected to be 597 million yuan. The construction site is located within the existing plant area of Yonz Wuhu in the Fanchang Economic Development Zone, Wuhu City, Anhui Province. Existing factory buildings will be used for adaptive renovation, a high-standard clean workshop will be built, and battery aluminum foil production and processing equipment such as rolling mills, slitting equipment, and testing equipment will be introduced simultaneously to promote the large-scale mass production of the company's finished battery aluminum foil. After the project is completed, the company will form an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of finished battery aluminum foil, and its business profitability, risk resistance, and overall competitiveness will also be further enhanced.
