On the news front, recently, Sweden's largest power company Vattenfall announced that it has selected the UK's Rolls-Royce to build 3 small modular reactors on Sweden's west coast, with a total installed capacity of approximately 1,410 MW and an annual power generation of about 12 billion kWh, accounting for about 8% of Sweden's total annual electricity consumption. The first unit is expected to be put into operation around 2035. This is Sweden's first new nuclear power project in more than 40 years, marking the official restart of nuclear power construction.
Guotai Haitong issued a research report stating that, benefiting from the acceleration of nuclear power construction and tight upstream mineral supply, natural uranium prices continue to rise. As a natural uranium production and trading company backed by a nuclear power enterprise, CGN MINING is expected to fully benefit from the rise in natural uranium prices. With the adjustment of the company's long-term agreement benchmark price in 2026, full-year performance growth is expected.
