On the news front, TIANYU SEMI announced that on September 15, 2026, the company spent HK$1.9984 million to repurchase 56,700 shares at a repurchase price of HK$32.74-37.1 per share. Previously, TIANYU SEMI had approved an H-share repurchase plan, under which the number of H shares repurchased will not exceed 10% of the issued H shares (excluding treasury H shares, if any) as of the date the repurchase mandate was granted, namely 5.899 million H shares. The plan reflects the board's confidence in the company's future development, aims to safeguard the company's value and shareholders' rights and interests, and enhance investor confidence. It is understood that TIANYU SEMI focuses on self-manufactured silicon carbide epitaxial wafers and has achieved mass production of 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch epitaxial wafers. In the first half of 2026, driven by smooth capacity ramp-up and downstream demand, the company's 8-inch epitaxial wafer revenue reached approximately RMB 147 million, a year-on-year increase of 40.5%. It is also worth noting that in the first half of the year, TIANYU SEMI achieved breakthrough results in overseas market expansion, with revenue generated from countries and regions outside mainland China reaching RMB 62.5 million, a year-on-year increase of 4,906%, ushering in explosive growth.
