Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (600276.SH) announced that recently, its subsidiary Guangdong Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration for Recaticimab for Injection, and clinical trials will be conducted in the near future. The applied indication: this product is intended for adult patients with intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis to reduce the risk of stroke recurrence. Recaticimab for Injection is a monoclonal antibody against human proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) independently developed by the company. It can inhibit the binding of PCSK9 to the low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR), increasing the number of LDLRs capable of clearing low-density lipoprotein from the blood, thereby lowering LDL-C levels.
