Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group (002385.SZ) announced that the official Brazilian website has published the meeting resolution of the Brazilian National Technical Commission on Biosafety (CTNBio), in which the genetically modified insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant soybean transformation event developed by the company's controlling subsidiary Beijing Dabeinong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dabeinong Biotech"), stacked from three transformation eventsDBN9004 x DBN8002 x DBN8205 (DBN-09004-6DBN-08002-3DBN-08205-8)passed the safety evaluation review and was officially approved for planting. After the genetic stacking of the above events, a composite trait product with insect resistance and herbicide tolerance can be formed. This product helps alleviate the high pest pressure in low-latitude soybean planting areas such as Brazil. It has control effects on major lepidopteran pests including fall armyworm, southern armyworm, and cotton bollworm, and is tolerant to glyphosate and glufosinate-ammonium herbicides, providing technical support for local weed control.
