On the news front, CHERVON announced on the evening of September 10 that it has appointed Joseph Galli Jr. as chief executive officer, effective the same day. Founder Pan Longquan stepped down as CEO, remaining as executive director and chairman. It is understood that during Galli's 19-year tenure at Stanley Black & Decker (SWK), he rose to president of the global power tools and accessories business, successfully launching the DeWalt brand of heavy-duty power tools; from 2008 to 2024, he served as executive president and executive director of TECHTRONIC IND for 16 years, enhancing the global sales potential of the Milwaukee and Ryobi brands.
In the first half of this year, CHERVON achieved revenue of approximately US$1.029 billion, up 12.8% year-on-year; gross margin rose from 33.3% to 39.3%. Adjusted net profit was approximately US$106 million, up 39.9% year-on-year. Western said that entering 2026, channel inventory has fallen to historically low levels, and with the completion of the ramp-up of Vietnam production capacity and the elimination of supply bottlenecks, revenue growth has gained natural support; the 2026 interim results have already validated this path, and the certainty of a full-year earnings recovery has risen significantly.
