BIOHEART-B(02185) announced that the Company recently entered into a strategic cooperation agreement (the Strategic Cooperation Agreement) with Shanghai Shenqi Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenqi Medical) to jointly advance the commercialization and clinical application of the Bioheart Bioresorbable Rapamycin-Eluting Coronary Stent System (the BioHeart Stent, a product independently developed by the Company). Pursuant to the Strategic Cooperation Agreement, both parties will fully leverage their respective resource advantages in market channel development and academic promotion to jointly advance the commercialization and clinical application of the BioHeart Stent. The Board believes that the Strategic Cooperation Agreement will further integrate innovative products with professional market service resources, jointly promote the clinical popularization and standardized application of the BioHeart Stent as an innovative "intervention without implantation" solution, and provide more treatment options for patients with coronary artery disease. The BioHeart Stent is a new-generation bioresorbable rapamycin-eluting coronary stent system independently developed by the Company. The BioHeart Stent features an ultra-thin strut design with a minimum strut thickness of 90 microns, which enhances radial support while improving device deliverability and lesion crossing capability. The stent scaffold is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) material, which can gradually degrade and be absorbed in the body, gradually disappearing from the blood vessel after completing its staged support mission, truly realizing the "intervention without implantation" treatment concept. Meanwhile, the BioHeart Stent has a poly-D, L-lactic acid (PDLLA) sustained-release coating loaded with rapamycin, which effectively inhibits neointimal hyperplasia through continuous drug release, supporting long-term luminal stability. Multi-level clinical studies have also provided clinical support for the safety and efficacy of the BioHeart Stent. The Board believes that the entry into the Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Shenqi Medical represents an important step for the Company to advance its commercialization process and accelerate product market adoption. The Board believes that the Strategic Cooperation Agreement is in line with the Company's business development strategy and the overall interests of the Company and its shareholders.
