On September 14, the three major A-share indices opened lower collectively, then fluctuated upward. The Shanghai Composite Index turned positive and maintained narrow-range consolidation, while the Shenzhen Component Index and ChiNext Index turned positive intraday before pulling back, remaining slightly lower at the midday close. The divergence between the yellow and white lines was pronounced, with small- and mid-cap stocks showing relatively strong performance. The market displayed a divergent pattern of "Shanghai strong, Shenzhen weak, theme rotation, and shrinking volume." As of the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.16% to 3894.28 points, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.25% to 13436.92 points, and the ChiNext Index fell 0.47% to 3306.36 points. Across the entire market, 3,576 stocks rose and 1,797 stocks fell, with 50 stocks hitting the daily limit up and 10 stocks hitting the daily limit down.
