Recently, with the approval of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, Chengdu Jinxin Medical Investment Management Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinxin Group") has been authorized to establish a national-level postdoctoral research station.
Founded in 1951, Jinxin Group is one of the most influential healthcare groups in China, with a diverse business layout that includes assisted reproduction, women's health throughout their life cycle, medical care, and health management. The group has long adhered to an integrated development model of "production, education, and research."
According to data from Frost & Sullivan, its subsidiary JXR (01951) ranks first in China in terms of the number of egg retrieval cycles. Leveraging well-known medical institutions both domestically and internationally, such as Sichuan Jinxin Women's and Children's Hospital, Shenzhen Zhongshan Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, and HRC Fertility in the United States, Jinxin Group has established a global network for women's health and assisted reproductive services, with its business scale and service capabilities ranking at the forefront of the industry.
L Rong, General Manager of Jinxin Group, stated that the group is oriented towards clinical needs and continues to strengthen its research platform and high-level talent development, having formed an innovative system that covers basic research, clinical research, technology development, and the transformation of research achievements.
In recent years, Jinxin Group has continuously carried out scientific research focused on key areas such as reproductive medicine, maternal-fetal immunology, stem cell and regenerative medicine, and genetic diagnosis. To date, it has published more than 500 scientific papers, initiated nearly 100 research projects, and received 7 national, provincial, and municipal science and technology awards. In the past five years, it has undertaken 87 research projects with a total research funding of approximately 53 million yuan.
Currently, Jinxin Group has established core research platforms in Chengdu and Shenzhen, with a total research platform area exceeding 5,000 square meters. It has built specialized platforms for GMP-grade cell preparation, digital pathology, multi-color flow cytometry, protein mass spectrometry, exosome detection, in vivo microscopic imaging, and molecular genetic sequencing, providing excellent conditions for postdoctoral researchers to conduct cutting-edge research. At present, there are 83 full-time research staff, including experts with special government allowances from the State Council, national second-level professors, and outstanding talents from the Ministry of Education's New Century program. The group has also jointly trained a total of 5 postdoctoral researchers.
L Rong indicated that the group has established a comprehensive system for the recruitment, training, assessment, and scientific research management of postdoctoral researchers. Following the establishment of the station, it will further leverage the high-quality innovation resources in Jinjiang District and Chengdu, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as reproductive medicine, maternal-fetal immunology, and stem cell and regenerative medicine. The aim is to enhance the attraction and cultivation of high-level talent and promote collaborative innovation among production, education, research, and healthcare, thereby facilitating the translation of more research achievements in Chengdu.
