The domestic AMOLED display driver leader has been included in the Stock Connect. VIEWTRIX TECH (03310) has entered a new stage of value reassessment.
Yunying Valley Technology (03310) announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Implementation Measures for the Shanghai Stock Exchange-Hong Kong Stock Connect" and the "Implementation Measures for the Shenzhen Stock Exchange-Hong Kong Stock Connect," the company's H shares have officially been included in the list of securities eligible for the Hong Kong Stock Connect.
On September 7, VIEWTRIX TECH Co., Ltd. (03310) announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Implementation Measures for the Shanghai Stock Exchange-Hong Kong Stock Connect" and the "Implementation Measures for the Shenzhen Stock Exchange-Hong Kong Stock Connect," the company's H shares have officially been included in the list of southbound trading stocks. Qualified mainland investors can directly invest in the company's H shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange through the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange, respectively. This move is beneficial for expanding the company's investor base and is likely to enhance the trading liquidity of its H shares.
VIEWTRIX TECH's rapid entry into the southbound trading list is closely linked to its established industry position and commercialization strength in the display driver chip sector. Public information indicates that VIEWTRIX TECH is one of the first companies in China to achieve large-scale shipments of high-end AMOLED display driver chips and the first domestic supplier to complete certification for leading brand customers, achieving shipments at the level of tens of millions. Currently, its products cover more than a dozen smartphone series, with related core customers collectively holding over a quarter of the global smartphone market share, creating a solid business foundation and stable commercialization capabilities.
In the Micro-OLED display backplane/driver chip sector, Frost & Sullivan data shows that VIEWTRIX TECH holds approximately 40.7% of the global market share by sales in 2024, ranking second globally and first among independent suppliers in China. It is also one of the early independent manufacturers to achieve large-scale deployment of consumer-grade VR/AR devices.
VIEWTRIX TECH's stability in the high-end market and consolidation of competitive advantages in both tracks stem from long-term, high-intensity research and development investment. From 2023 to the first half of this year, the company's cumulative R&D investment reached 814 million yuan. By the end of the first half of 2026, the company held a total of 83 patents, 25 registered trademarks, and 23 copyrights.
Past cases in the Hong Kong stock market show that inclusion in the southbound trading often brings opportunities for value reassessment for hard technology stocks. For VIEWTRIX TECH, which is still in its early stages of listing, the inflow of southbound funds can enhance stock trading activity and optimize the shareholder structure, attracting mainland institutions and industrial capital focused on the semiconductor industry to participate. Furthermore, as mainland institutions continue to deepen their research into the consumer electronics and XR industry chains, it is expected that the stock will benefit from market pricing that is more aligned with the industrial fundamentals.
It is worth noting that VIEWTRIX TECH has already begun work related to its A-share listing and has appointed GF SEC as its advisory institution. As the H+A dual-capital platform construction progresses in an orderly manner, this domestic leader in the AMOLED display driver chip field may rely on the empowerment of capital markets in both regions and welcome further reassessment of its corporate value.
