JP Morgan: Raises target prices and 2027 earnings forecasts for SITC (01308) and TS LINES (02510), maintaining an "Overweight" rating.
J.P. Morgan believes that Seaspan Corporation and Wan Hai Lines remain the top choices in the broader shipping sector.
J.P. Morgan released a research report stating that it maintains Overweight ratings for SITC (01308) and TS LINES (02510), raising the target price for SITC from HKD 47 to HKD 52, and for TS LINES from HKD 13.5 to HKD 18. Additionally, it raised the earnings forecasts for TS LINES and SITC for 2027 by approximately 15% and 6%, respectively.
J.P. Morgan believes that both companies remain preferred choices within the broader shipping sector. The management has recently expressed optimism regarding the Asian situation and emphasized disciplined network and fleet management. The bank pointed out that compared to many container shipping companies, both companies are also more willing to return surplus cash to shareholders through a more aggressive dividend policy.
