Liu Jiamin, a product expert for WorkBuddy's international version, stated that Tencent WorkBuddy officially opened to the international market at the end of May this year. It is currently operational in Hong Kong, Macau, the United States, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, and will launch globally this month. In just over three months since its launch, it has integrated into most office scenarios requiring efficiency improvements. Among these, Hong Kong users have very high expectations for the efficiency of AI products, and enhancing work productivity is a strong suit of WorkBuddy. Liu noted that with the launch of the mixed Yuan Hy4 preview, the product capabilities have been upgraded once again. It has currently integrated with Notion and GitHub, and in the next two weeks, it will connect with IM communication tools like Slack, Telegram, and Discord. Future plans include support for integration with Google Workspace and Microsoft office software. She added that the international version of WorkBuddy incorporates mainstream AI models such as Tencent HY, Z.AIGLM, GPT, and Gemini, and will provide customized ecosystems based on the needs and application scenarios of overseas users. The integrated mixed Yuan Hy4 preview has shown significant improvements in complex office environments, understanding, and financial analysis capabilities. Recently, Tencent announced the WorkBuddy open platform, opening its underlying Agent capabilities to smart hardware, industry applications, and developers. The first batch introduced over 100 ecological partners and launched co-branded smart hardware products. Liu revealed that the international version is also planning to launch an open platform, which is currently in the stage of understanding different countries and regions, hoping to first grasp users' true needs and ensure a closed-loop capability. Today (September 3), Tencent held the "Tencent Agent Day" event in Hong Kong for three consecutive days, showcasing its international version of WorkBuddy, Miora creative assistant, international music media platform JOOX, and the newly launched "mixed Yuan Hy4 preview," through a specially designed AI double-decker bus touring around Hong Kong, focusing on demonstrating the application capabilities of AI agents in real office and daily scenarios to the public and enterprise users.
