In the first half of this year, Xizhi Technology achieved a revenue of HKD 79.779 million, a year-on-year increase of 284%, with a comprehensive gross margin of approximately 65.8%, and an adjusted net loss of HKD 147 million. The revenue from the optical interconnection business was HKD 60.70 million, an increase of 275%, primarily driven by the larger-scale commercial deployment of Scale-up OCS. Sealand stated that as one of the few independent Scale-up optical interconnection solution providers in China capable of large-scale commercialization, it will benefit from the development of supernodes and Scale-up.
Additionally, the Hang Seng Index Company previously announced the semi-annual index adjustment results, in which Xizhi Technology was included in the Hang Seng Composite Index. All changes will be implemented after the market close on September 4 and will take effect from September 7, at which point the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges will adjust the scope of investable stocks under the Hong Kong Stock Connect accordingly. According to forecasts from institutions such as Huatai and CICC, Xizhi Technology is expected to be included in the Hong Kong Stock Connect in early September.
