On Wednesday, Meta (META.US) rose by over 2%, reaching $592.77. According to reports, with Meta reaching a settlement regarding social media-related lawsuits, thereby eliminating a long-standing legal uncertainty, some analysts believe this could pave the way for the company to intensively launch a series of new artificial intelligence (AI) products.
The settlement raised concerns among investors about a potential decline in Meta's advertising revenue. However, Morgan Stanley analysts stated that major lawsuits often lead to tech giants rolling out innovative products and services once they are concluded. The analysts mentioned in their report, "We see that Meta currently has several new products in development, including MetaClaw/improved Meta AI, a complete set of intelligent advertising tools for small and medium-sized enterprises, an upcoming subscription service, powerful API products, and neocloud-related options."
Reportedly, Meta plans to launch the consumer-facing AI agent, Hatch, in early September. This product will be integrated within WhatsApp and Instagram, capable of autonomously executing tasks including online shopping and restaurant reservations.
