On September 2, the Hong Kong dollar interbank rates experienced mixed developments, with the one-month interbank rate related to mortgage loans reported at 2.86256%, down 0.143 basis points; the three-month interbank rate, reflecting banks' funding costs, stood at 3.02821%, up 0.142 basis points. The overnight rate was reported at 2.94214%, down 34.036 basis points; the one-week interbank rate fell by 15.047 basis points to 2.92536%, while the two-week rate decreased by 6.464 basis points to 2.82679%. The two-month interbank rate remained unchanged at 2.95000%. Regarding long-term rates, the six-month interbank rate increased by 0.072 basis points, changing to 3.21399%, while the one-year rate rose by 1.697 basis points to 3.53024%.
