Chongqing Zhifei Biological Products (300122.SZ): Application for Clinical Trial of Lyophilized Human Rabies Vaccine (ZFB-3 Cells) Accepted.

Chongqing Zhifei Biological Products (300122.SZ) announced that it has recently been informed that its wholly-owned subsidiary Anhui Zhifei Longkema Biological Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has developed a freeze-dried human rabies vaccine (ZFB-3 cell) that has received the acceptance notice for a clinical trial application from the National Medical Products Administration. This vaccine is used for the prevention of rabies. By inoculating with this vaccine, the body can be stimulated to produce immunity against the rabies virus. The vaccine uses the company's independently developed human diploid cell strain (ZFB-3 cell) as the production substrate, which theoretically results in a lower incidence of local and systemic adverse reactions compared to animal-derived cell rabies vaccines, and poses no risk of tumorigenicity.
