On the news front, on September 1, LAEKNA-B announced that the group has commenced the recruitment of subjects for the Phase I clinical study (Phase I Clinical Study) of LAE118 for the treatment of advanced solid tumors in China, and the first subject has been enrolled.
In June 2026, the group entered into an exclusive licensing agreement (Licensing Agreement) with Vasque Bio, Inc. (Vasque Bio). Under the terms and conditions of the Licensing Agreement, the group is entitled to receive up to a total of USD 527 million in non-refundable and non-deductible upfront and milestone payments, as well as a tiered sales royalty ranging from single to double-digit percentages calculated based on the future net sales of LAE118 within the licensed territories. The group is also entitled, without the need for additional consideration, to acquire equity in the form of ordinary shares of Vasque Bio up to a high double-digit percentage, or alternatively, cash payments in lieu of such ordinary shares. If Vasque Bio achieves qualified strategic cooperation or acquisition transactions that meet specific conditions (related to the use of LAE118), the group will be entitled to receive additional payments of up to 50% of the value of such strategic transactions.
