On August 28, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange announced the trade data for goods and services in China's balance of payments for July 2026. In July 2026, the import and export scale of China's goods and services trade was 51,462 billion yuan. Among them, the export of goods and services was 28,830 billion yuan, imports were 22,632 billion yuan, resulting in a surplus of 6,198 billion yuan. In terms of the major items of service trade, the import and export scale of travel services was 1,704 billion yuan, other commercial services was 1,541 billion yuan, transportation services was 1,504 billion yuan, and telecommunications, computer, and information services was 781 billion yuan.
In US dollar terms, in July 2026, China's exports of goods and services trade amounted to 424.2 billion US dollars, imports amounted to 333 billion US dollars, resulting in a surplus of 91.2 billion US dollars. (End)
