On August 28, VOBILE GROUP (03738) announced its performance for the six months ending June 30, 2026. In the first half of this year, VOBILE GROUP achieved revenue of HK$1.805 billion, an increase of 23.97% year-on-year; gross profit was HK$810 million, a year-on-year growth of 26%, with a gross margin of 44.9%; the profit for the period was HK$195 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 92.7%, and the profit margin reached 10.8%. During the reporting period, VOBILE maintained robust growth in its core business while transitioning its AI content-related service capabilities from planning to implementation. Subscription service revenue amounted to HK$718 million, an increase of 17.7% year-on-year, accounting for 39.8% of total revenue; revenue from value-added and other services was HK$1.087 billion, an increase of 28.5% year-on-year, making up 60.2% of total revenue. During the reporting period, the company transitioned its presence in the AI content service field from planning to implementation: revenue from the DreamMaker platform's computing power services, which started from zero, has reached tens of millions of dollars, and the scale of AI-related active assets managed by the group has significantly increased, successfully completing the first cash flow RWA project for film and television copyrights under the regulatory framework in Hong Kong. Notably, during the reporting period, AI-related revenue driven by the DreamMaker and MAX platforms was generated for the first time, mainly including the revenue from computing power services produced by creators invoking multimodal models on the platform and monetization income generated from asset rights and management through VOBILE. This marks the transition of VOBILE GROUP's AI creation platform from product construction and user validation to the early commercialization stage. The company will continue to enhance the creator ecosystem, model supply, and commercialization capabilities. VOBILE GROUP maintains synchronized advancement in its two core markets, the U.S. and China, leveraging its core competency in digital rights confirmation. It expands service scenarios by integrating digital rights confirmation, content recognition, and global platform operational capabilities, while also considering the specific characteristics of the content industry in different regions. Both regions' businesses have extended from traditional film and television content to AI-generated content, music, micro-dramas, and platform-level governance, improving service efficiency through productization and automation tools. Revenue in the U.S. and other business regions reached HK$927 million, a year-on-year increase of 27.1%; revenue from China amounted to HK$878 million, a year-on-year increase of 20.9%. In terms of research and development investment, VOBILE GROUP is advancing the productization of several AI-native operational tools, extending AI capabilities from content recognition to rule configuration, data collection, and business decision-making, with R&D expenses reaching HK$189 million, a year-on-year increase of 15.4%. Overall, VOBILE GROUP's solid financial performance validates the strong monetization capability of its core model of "content rights confirmation and monetization + AI content services" in the era of AI. Additionally, the successful implementation of the companys AI computing power services has opened a second growth curve. With its first-mover advantage, VOBILE GROUP is expected to further break through its growth ceiling.
