Revenue is up, profits are improving! SHOUGANG LANZA (02553) reports strong growth in its interim performance, achieving success in its first listing battle.

On August 27, SHOU GANG LANZA (02553), the worlds first AI Synthetic Biology + CCUS listed company, announced its interim results for 2026. In the first half of this year, SHOU GANG LANZA reported revenue of 293 million yuan (RMB, the same below), an increase of 9.9% year-on-year; gross losses amounted to 19.994 million yuan, a significant reduction of 63.9%; and the net loss narrowed sharply by 30.1% to 118 million yuan. This marks the company's first interim performance report since going public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, during which SHOU GANG LANZA achieved steady revenue growth and a significant recovery in losses, highlighting a strong rebound in its core business. During the reporting period, the company had ample orders on hand, with revenue primarily derived from the sale of low-carbon products. Ethanol revenue reached 241 million yuan, microbial protein revenue was 49.4 million yuan, and revenue from other products totaled 2.6 million yuan. Notably, ethanol production increased by 17.1% to 52,800 tons, and protein production rose by 9.2% to 6,099 tons; ethanol sales went up by 5.9% to 49,700 tons, with protein sales increasing by 8.0% to 6,137 tons. In terms of project construction, the first batch of national green low-carbon advanced technology demonstration projectsHebei Shoulang Phase II production facilities (including the bio-fermentation system for producing ethanol and protein from industrial carbon dioxide tailgas)successfully commenced trial production in June 2026, producing qualified products on the first run. This milestone marks the realization of the worlds first ten-thousand-ton demonstration project that utilizes industrial tailgas containing CO2 for the biosynthesis of anhydrous ethanol across the entire process flow. Additionally, the company is actively promoting collaboration with the government of Pingluo County, Ningxia Province, to construct a unified industrial tailgas supply pipeline. Looking ahead, SHOU GANG LANZA will closely align with carbon neutrality goals, deepen the synergistic innovation of biosynthesis and CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage) technologies, and actively explore AI-enabled production optimization and process iteration.
