Both parties will leverage their respective advantages in mRNA vaccine technology and the discovery and design of new tumor antigens to advance the research and commercialization of mRNA personalized therapeutic cancer vaccines. This collaboration is targeted at a global scale, focusing on gastrointestinal solid tumors and rare tumors, covering early-stage development, clinical translation, registration submissions, and commercialization. It is worth noting that on August 19, Moderna and Merck announced that their jointly developed melanoma mRNA cancer vaccine had met its primary endpoint in a Phase III clinical trial.
